School catering
Comprehensive schools,
upper secondary schools and technical colleges offer free school lunches on
school days. The lunch includes a hot meal with side dishes, salad, bread
and drinks.
Lunch is served flexibly
between 10.30 a.m. and noon.
The aim is that all
comprehensive school students in grades 7-9 have the opportunity to eat a
snack from the beginning of 2005. This snack, which must be paid for, is
served at 1 p.m.
Schools that offer
afternoon club activities for first- and second-graders offer a free snack
for children participating in the club.
