Rauma Art Museum(Kuninkaankatu 37) tel (02) 822 4346 The Rauma Art Museum is located in the Empire-style Pinnala building, part of which representing older Gustavian Classicism, was completed in 1795. This old tradesman’s mansion is surrounded by a closed courtyard, and even the courtyard buildings provide exhibition space. The Rauma Art Museum focuses on the Rauma region and the countries surrounding the Baltic Sea. The most notable exhibitions are the Rauma Biennale Balticum, which introduces contemporary art from the Baltic Sea region, and the Exhibition of Electronic Art, including the newest forms of expression. These two exhibitions are held in alternate years. Open Tue.-Thu. from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Fri.
