Rauma provides social services for all age groups. Services that are important for families include day care services, pre-school services and play activities.
The Social Services Department, located in the Town Hall, houses staff dealing with day care, protection of maintenance payments, work with the elderly, and services for the handicapped. It is also the house for the town's social workers.
