Foreign-language book donations to the Town Library
Rauma Town
Library receives book donations both in German and in French. New books are
needed because the OL3 construction site has brought new customers to the
library.
The Goethe-Institut
in Helsinki has donated a collection of almost one hundred books in German
for both adults and children. These books are displayed on the ground floor.
The French
Cultural Centre has supplied the town library with one hundred books which
will be regularly exchanged for new titles. These books are located in the
book trolleys: books for adults next to the information desk on the second
floor and children’s books near the information desk at the children’s
section.
All library
users may borrow these books. There is a total of approximately 300 000
books at Rauma Town Library, of which 18 000 are in foreign languages.
