Representatives of the Chinese Embassy visit Rauma

On Thursday, 16 March two representatives of the Chinese Embassy, Cultural Counsellor Wu Shiguang and 3rd Secretary Cai Lingyun started their two-day visit to Rauma.

The guests were received by Leena Ratia, library and culture director, and Riitta Tohkala, cultural affairs director. At the welcome reception Wu and Cai met the 2nd deputy chairperson of Rauma Town Council Irma Suonpää, deputy town manager Tomi Suvanto and administrative manager Sari Salo. After the reception, the guests visited Old Rauma, Marela and the Old Town Hall.

On Friday, the Chinese representatives visited “Beautiful China Photo Exhibition” at the Main Library and toured the library itself. Later the same day, they had lunch at Rauma Town Hall and visited Lönnström Art Museum.
