Great Success of Children’s Cultural Weeks
The Children’s
Cultural fortnight ended on 17 March 2006. There was a lot to do for
children: music shows, concerts, puppet and marionette theatre and other
happenings.
Almost 2 500
people attended the events this spring. All concerts and shows were full
even though there were some extra performances.
The most
popular events were Urpo and Turpo and Hirmuinen ÄM by Linnateatteri
and the children’s concert featuring Pentti Rasinkangas and his orchestra
Ohilyönti, not forgetting the Riemuralli event on 14 March.
Children could
participate in the majority of shows themselves. They put their heart and
soul into the stories and karaoke and were eager little helpers in building
doll houses.
The next
cultural weeks will be held in November.
