Main themes:

• safety of materials in contact with drinking water improvement of drinking water

• quality improvement in competitiveness of Finnish drinking water industry (standardization work)

The institute provides services to all those who work with drinking water.

Operations are national and international.

Scientific research information on drinking water has been collected by DWI, Finland into its research  information bank.
