DEGREE-LEVEL EDUCATION AND RESEARCH

Rauma is a multi-faceted higher-education town. Altogether there are 2’100 degree-level students and 170 full-time researchers and teachers in higher education institutes in Rauma. Of these there are:

• 1’420 students and 87 teachers and researchers at Satakunta University of Applied Sciences Rauma
• 720 students and 45 teachers and researchers at Department of Teacher Education in Rauma (University of Turku, Faculty of Education).
• 31 people at other research and development sites.
