Degrees
In each degree programme the title awarded is insinööri (AMK) –
Bachelor of Engineering.
The degree programme in Logistics focuses on acquisitions, distribution
planning, transport operations and storage as well as coordination and
steering of these activities using information technology.
In the degree programme in Information Technology the student may, in
accordance with his/her personal interests, specialize in electronics,
programming or telecommunications technology by choosing the following
thematic study modules: embedded and real-time systems, programming and
software design, wireless and fixed-network telecommunications, Cisco
Networking Academy (CCNA and CCNP) as well as electronics design and
production.
In the EMC laboratory the student can study the EMC testing of
electronic products in a practical way.
In the
INNOVA
ELEPRO
electronics production plant the student can get acquainted with the
operations and steering of an electronics production line in practice.
The CCNA and CCNP degrees enable the student to obtain a certificate of
international standing in the field of data network design and
maintenance.
The degree programme in Industrial Management includes the following
central modules: modelling of business operations, marketing, product
development as well as production management and steering. The programme
emphasizes the management of the entire range of business operations in
terms of technology, accounting, marketing and leadership.
The student can combine different module options into a programme that
corresponds to his/her personal interests. Study modules can be chosen
from other degree programmes too.
