The Rauma Archipelago
The
Rauma Archipelago is a “wilderness” within a stone’s throw from
the urban Rauma. The
archipelago reaches out about 10 km from the shore.
There are “south-western Finnish” rocky shores in the
archipelago, but most distinguishing are first of all large wooded
islands and outer sea gravel islets.
A part of the archipelago is a network of sheltered long
straits. It
is planned that the Rauma Archipelago were the central part of the
