A development plan will be drawn for the Rauma archipelago

Kuuskajaskari and Kylmäpihlaja in Rauma archipelago.

The City of Rauma is launching the Master Plan 2030 -project for the archipelago. The goal is to draw a plan in 2021 and 2022 to develop the Rauma archipelago, which will define concrete actions to to take to improve it.

The target groups are operators in the archipelago, such as businesses, communities, associations and inhabitants. The project will give guidelines on how to archipelago will be developed, designed and invested on for the next ten years.

Leader Ravakka has granted funding for the project with 22 148 euros. The city’s self-financing portion is 9 294 euros for two years. The project is coordinated by the city of Rauma.

The Master Plan 2030 project supports Rauma’s vitality program goal of bringing nautical aspects more forward in the city.
