Covid-19 vaccinations for children 5 to 11-year-olds can be booked on 12 January

Rauma Health Services will start Covid-19 vaccinations for children aged 5–11 this week in the department T0, at Steniuksenkatu 2. Vaccination times for children can be booked on Wednesday 12 January from 8.30 AM to 1 PM from tel. +35844 403 2687.

– A signed permit for vaccination is required from all guardians of the child. If the child to be vaccinated doesn’t have the permit with them, the child will not be vaccinated, vaccination coordinator Marja Lehtimäki says.

Rauma Health Services recommends using the Guardian’s consent for a vaccination of a minor against COVID-19 form, which can be found on the website of the Finnish institute for health and welfare.

– If necessary, the guardians may write the information corresponding to the form on paper themselves if it is not possible to print the form. More information about the form and how to fill it in can also be found in connection with an appointment, Lehtimäki says.

More information on vaccinating children 5 to 11-year-olds can be found on the website of the Finnish institute for health and welfare. Covid vaccines are not given to children under 5 years of age.
