Vaccinations for 70-year-olds begin

Vaccinations for people turning 70 years of age and older will begin next week. Appointments can be made on Thursday 25 March from 8 AM to 3 PM by phone from tel +358 44 403 2687 or online at rauma.terveytesi.fi. When calling people must wait on the line until they can make a call back request. The call must not be disconnected before.

Online appointments require secure authentification. Online appointments can only be made by people who have already turned 70 this year.

Use of the AstraZeneca-vaccine is on hold for the time being in accordance to the Finnish Institute for Health and Welfare. People receiving the vaccinations cannot decide which vaccine they are given.

Vaccinations for clients in the city’s home and family care

Vaccinations continue for elderly people in family and home care. They will be contacted directly. If there are other 70-year-olds or older living in the same household, they can be vaccinated at the same time.

Next to be vaccinated

Elderly people in private family and home care who have not yet been vaccinated will be vaccinated after Easter.
