Woman receiving vaccination

First vaccine doses are available without appointments on Thursday 16 September from 12 AM to 7 PM. The event is held on department T0 of the health care center on Steniuksenkatu 2.

– We especially hope that people 12 to 40 years of age would come to the vaccination, because in this age group the vaccination coverage is way under 80 percent in Rauma. All age groups are available to receive the vaccination, head nurse Marja Lehtimäki says.

The vaccination event is held in a safe manner with safe distances and face masks.

The person receiving the vaccine must bring personal identification with them, either an id-card, passport, or Kela card.

More information about risk groups, vaccines, and changing the vaccines is available at rauma.fi/covid-vaccinations.

Vaccinations for people 12 to 15 years of age

In order to get the vaccination, pupils 12 to 15 years of age must first contact their school nurse. The nurse makes the necessary entries in the health records of the student about their consent to take the vaccine. After this, the student can attend vaccination-events without an appointment on Steniuksenkatu 2.

Gap between doses shortened to six weeks
