Possible Covid exposures at restaurants and cafe on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 July

Rauma Health Services has received information on late Sunday evening, 25 July, that a people who had been infected with a Covid infection have been at different restaurants and cafe in Rauma on Friday 23 July and Saturday 24 July. One person has been in Helkelä summer yard at Bar Hehku on Friday from 10 PM to 1 AM and at Merijakamo in Saturday from 8 PM to 10:30 PM. Other infected foreign resident has been at Kontio cafe at Friday from 11:30 AM to 12 PM.

Everyone who has been at those places at those times is asked to monitor their symptoms and book an appointment for a Covid test at a low threshold.

The most common incubation period for Covid infection is about 4 to 5 days, but varies between 1 and 14 days. If the exposed person has even mild symptoms such as runny nose, cough, sore throat, fever, odor or taste disturbance, or in some cases diarrhea, it is important to book and appointment for the test without any delay.
