Rauma Health Care Services will arrange a pop-up vaccination reception on Friday 13 August from 9 AM to 4 PM in the Kauppis gym, Satamakatu 26. This Covid vaccination event is intended for people 16 years of age and older. Only the first Covid vaccination will be given at the event. There are 260 vaccinations available.
When arriving to the vaccination people must take a queue number. The event will be organized safely, taking into account safety distances and face masks. A limited number of people will be taken indoors at a time for the vaccination.
The person to be vaccinated must have an identity card, passport or Kela card as a proof of identity.
After the vaccination attendees must say for at least 15 minutes for monitoring.
– In the similar vaccination event last Saturday, there were plenty of people taking the vaccine and all the vaccines reserved for the event were used. The event went well, says chief nurse Marja Iisakkala.
Vaccination appointments can still be booked
Online appointments for Covid-19 vaccinations can still be booked at rauma.terveytesi.fi. Phone appointments are also made weekly and are always announced in the previous week.
When making the appointments it should be taken into consideration that the second vaccination is given 12 weeks after the first one. The time and location of the second appointment is given when receiving the first vaccination.
