Rauma healthcare services is starting seasonal influenza vaccinations on the second week of November in department T0 on Steniuksenkatu. Vaccinations are given without appointments in reverse alphabetical order by last names. Location of department T0 can be checked from the map (Osasto T0 on the map).
The influenza vaccine will be free for those for whom influenza is an essential health risk, or who receive significant health benefits from the vaccination.
A free influenza vaccine is available to anyone predisposed to severe influenza, i.e.:
- those aged 65 and over
- children aged between 6 months and 6 years
- pregnant women
- those belonging to risk groups because of their illness or treatment.
In addition, the influenza vaccine will also be given free of charge to
- men starting their military service and women starting their voluntary military service
- those residing or staying in institutional conditions on a long-term basis
- social and health care workers and pharmaceutical care workers participating in the immediate care or maintenance of patients or clients
- certain persons close to those predisposed to severe influenza.

Children aged from 6 months to 6 years in Lappi will be vaccinated on visits to the child health center in the Lappi healthcare center and by appointment. Appointments can be made by calling 044 403 2025.
School-aged children will be vaccinated at their schools.
Vaccinations at nurse or doctor appointments
The vaccination can also be given during a regular appointment.
Vaccination appointments can only be made through the centralized appointment service by those who cannot attend the regular vaccination events due to their health situation, for example severe immunodeficiency.
Centralized appointment service is open Monday to Thursday 7.30 AM to 4 PM and on Fridays and eves 7.30 AM to 3 PM.
General instructions for the vaccinations
The vaccination events are held in a safe manner with safe distances and face masks.
A limited number of people are admitted at once into the department T0 so it is possible that people have to wait outside for their time, It is advised that attendees dress accordingly to the weather.
The person receiving the vaccine must bring personal identification with them, either an id-card, passport, or Kela card.
