Small changes made to Rauma Covid-restrictions

The City of Rauma’s COVID-response team met on Friday 12 February to consider the application of the guidelines the Satakunta regional infectious disease prevention team published Thursday.

The regional team stated that Rauma is still in the spreading stage of the epidemic. The incidence rate from 27 January to 9 February is 94,3, when the number for the rest of Satakunta is 44,5. Guidelines and restrictions given earlier will stay the same for the most part, but instructions regarding hobby activities of children 12 years of age and younger.

Guidelines are in effect until 28 February.

Museum visits possible during winter break

Rauma schools have winter break 22 to 26 February. The education department is preparing a possibility for families to reserve visits to museum sites during the break week. More information will be given later. Museums will not be open to the general public.

Children 12 years of age and younger can have hobby activities in close contact

Children 12 years of age and younger can have hobby activities in close contact with in their own team or group, starting from 13 February. Matches and competitions are allowed within their own teams. No audience events are allowed however.

Restrictions on other hobby activities remain the same

Other recommendations have not changed. Hobby activities for children and youths must still follow hygiene recommendations and other restrictions. Competition, match and series activities for under 20-year old remain suspended. Training is allowed on reserved shifts, observing safe distances and avoiding close contacts. No sporting events or competitions should be organized. The recommendation applies to indoor and outdoor sports and sporting events for individuals and teams of all ages.

Guardians must wear masks and keep safe distances when picking up their children from facilities.
