The Finnish Government changed its policy regarding the coronavirus-epidemic on Friday 20 March. Unlike stated in the first statement, all 1st to 3rd graders can receive in contact teaching if needed. However, it is still strongly recommended that all students stay home and in distance learning.
If a student in first, second or third grades of basic education is in need of contact teaching and after school clubs after the policy-change, guardians must notify their child’s school principal by 12 am Sunday 22 March. Contacting the principal is not needed if there is no change in the family’s situation from what they have notified earlier.
Guardians of children in need of contact teaching will be contacted on during the Sunday afternoon.
