Third vaccinations for people with severe immunodeficiencies will begin in Rauma. Severely immunodeficient people can get their third vaccine doses by appointment on Wednesday 29 September. Appointments must be made by phone on Monday 27 September from 4 PM to 8 PM from tel +358 44 403 2687. The vaccinations are at department T0 of the health care center on Steniuksenkatu 2.
The third dose can be administered when the second dose has been received at least two months ago.
Severely immunodeficient are people who have or suffer from the following illnesses or conditions:
- Organ transplantation
- Stem cell transplantation
- Severe to moderate congenital immunodeficiency
- Immunosuppressive cancer treatment
- Treatment of autoimmune diseases with immunosuppressive biologics or JAK inhibitors
- Dialysis and severe chronic renal failure
- Advanced or untreated HIV
- Other severe immunosuppressive conditions as evaluated by a doctor
First vaccine doses available without appointments on Thursday 30 September
First vaccine doses are available without appointments on Thursday 30 September from 12 AM to 7 PM. The event is held on department T0 of the health care center on Steniuksenkatu 2.
The vaccination event is held in a safe manner with safe distances and face masks.
The person receiving the vaccine must bring personal identification with them, either an id-card, passport, or Kela card.

Shortening the gap between vaccinations to six weeks
In accordance with recommendations given by the Finnish Institute for health and welfare, the gap between vaccinations can be shortened to six weeks from the previous eight weeks. If a person would like to receive their second vaccination dose after six weeks they should call tel. +358 44 403 2625 on Monday to Friday 8 to 10 AM.
