Student Health Care

The ministry of Social affairs and Health guides and regulates student health care in Finland.
Student Health Care in Rauma provides health care services for all students studying in high school, upper secondary vocational institutions regardless of their municipality of residence. The services are meant for full-time students in lines of study which entitle them to Kela student financial aid. Students in apprenticeship training are not eligible for student health care services.
University of Applied Sciences and teacher student health care services are provided by YTHS.
Student health care aims to promote students health, development and support studying; also taking into consideration the wellbeing of the whole institution. Alongside maintaining physical health, student health care supports student’s mental and social well-being.
Student health care services adhere to general healthcare service fees.
