Alkeet – Beginners’ courses (A1)
We start with the basics, such as greetings, numbers, how to introduce oneself and how to conjugate some verbs. You are welcome to join with little or no knowledge of Finnish. Teaching in Finnish, but the teachers also speak English and can use it as a support language where necessary. Evening courses are usually taught once a week for an hour and a half at a time.
Keskitaso – Continuation courses (A2)
Continuation courses are aimed at those who already know the very basics of Finnish: greetings, how to introduce oneself, numbers etc. We continue to learn more important vocabulary and the most essential grammar. Teaching in Finnish, English may be used as a support language. Evening courses are usually taught once a week for an hour and a half at a time.
Edistyneet – Advanced (B1)
Courses for you who already master the basics of the Finnish language, but wish to maintain and develop your language skills and fluency. At this level, the courses can focus on a specific topic, such as working life.
