Blues club: Hamid Moeini Band

Rauma Blues starts with two blues club days. The first club day, Thursday 11.8.2022, will be closed by Hamid Moeini Band in a new blues club, Ruormies of Poroholma in Suvitie, at 20.30.

Hamid Moeini Band has three long line musicians: Tare Lehtonen in bass, Mika Haanpää in drums and the front man Hamid Moeini who plays guitar and sings. Moeini has devoted himself full-time to playing guitar, and he is known as a man who tames even the trickiest solos of Jimi Hendrix. Moeini and his crew brings blues with a psychedelic touch to Ruormies. There will be covers from Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Freddie King and The Meters among others, but also, as a novelty, HMB’s own songs.
