This atmospheric chamber music concert is a unique combination of traditional jazz, Christmas classics and classical music. The performers are the radiant Shirley Sparks (vocals) and the virtuoso Antti Sarpila (piano).

SPARKS is a Finnish classical vocal artist and composer who since 2015 has focused on early 20th century American Classic Jazz & Pop music. He has performed at the Tampere Hall as a soloist with the Antti Sarpila Swing Band and at the Savoy Hotel in London. Sparks composes chamber jazz-style repertoire and released his second album Dreams of a Butterfly in August 2023. Sparks has studied at the Sibelius Academy, Metropolia AMK and Oxford Brookes University. www.shirleysparksmusic.com

SARPILA is an award-winning and internationally renowned Finnish clarinetist and saxophonist who has released dozens of albums. He is active in Finland and abroad, performing early 20th century Dixieland, Swing and Classic Jazz music. Sarpila has performed at Carnegie Hall in New York and is the artistic director of the Baltic Jazz Festival. www.anttisarpila.com
