Christmas Opening

The Christmas lights turn on in Old Rauma, Santa Claus arrives at the Market Square and the city centre fills up with Christmas elves and season’s programme in Rauma’s traditional Christmas Opening on Saturday 25 November.

10:00 AM sales booths open
12:00 PM The parade of Kari’s school choir, Poikasoittokunta percussion, and Santa Claus starts from Iso-Hannu
12:30 PM Poikasoittokunta performs at the market square
12:45 PM Kari’s school choir performs at the market square
1:00 PM Santa Claus available for meeting at the market square
2:00 PM Ville Viking at the market square
2:30 PM Kari’s school choir performs again
2:45 PM The 2023 “Rakastunut Raumaan” operator of the year is awarded
3:00 PM The “Rakastunut Raumaan” operator of the year lights the city’s Christmas lights
3:45 PM Christmas dance performance, Team Bellarion
4:00 PM Christmas story in Rauma dialect, Theater Group FAKE
4:20 PM Christmas dance performance, Turun Seudun Tanssioppilaitos

The event is organized by Rakastunut Raumaan community and the City of Rauma.
