Lace Week high point! Featuring Kaija Koo & Frans Harju
The city festival Rauma Lace Week culminates in a summer’s evening starring Kaija Koo in Old Rauma.
The gates to the Kalatori open on Saturday, July 27th at 6 pm, Frans Harju performs at 8 pm, and Kaija Koo’s incredible summer show begins at 10 pm. Music plays and bars serve until midnight as the highlight of Lace Week.
The traditional lace week held in Rauma in July gets its worthy climax when on Saturday, July 27th, Kaija Koo and Frans Harju headline the Lace Week climax at Old Rauma’s Kalatori!
– Lace Week’s program is a unique combination of tradition, local culture, and modern festival offerings. Lace Week is full of various and wonderful programs throughout the week, traditionally focused on Friday’s black lace night. As it’s one of July’s most popular summer weekend getaways, we also want to offer programming for Saturday, explains Tomi Viren, the event promoter.
The intention is to make the Lace Week climax event an annual tradition, bringing together mature audiences to enjoy a July summer evening with good music and high-quality services in arguably Finland’s most magnificent setting in Old Rauma.
A splendid event area is being constructed at Kalatori, with an idyllic summer bar designed for adult tastes in addition to the performance stage. A VIP area will be set up in Kalatori’s restaurant and the courtyard of Hotel Vanha Rauma, where VIP ticket holders can enjoy quality service with good food and drinks.
