Music play Joulevangeeljum

Christmas time in the Lace Town culminates to a dramatized version of an Annunciation to the Shepherds – play in the Old Rauma on Saturday 17.12. at 16 o’clock and 19 o’clock. The music play based on the Annunciation to the Shepherds is performed in the form of procession. Performances are free to public.

Public is also welcomed to see the dress rehersal on Friday 16.12. at 16 o’clock.

Performance has four scenes, of which the first one will be performed at the Old Town Hall, Kauppakatu 13. There Mary and Joseph get the order to go hear the amount of taxes. The performance will proceed to Kalatori, where the couple is looking for place to stay. After that the shepherds will be seen in the old church ruins. Last scene, the birth of the Chirst, will be performed in the yard ot the Church of the Holy Cross, where the stage will rise up to several meters height.
