Rannikon Sävel: Full Circle; Jonne Grans, guitar

The concert Full Circle focuses on presenting works for solo guitar by composers who originates from the Pacific area. The concert carries the listener to the other side of the world during the longing for long-distance travelling drawing inspiration from the versatile nature and environment. In the works surfaces a distinctive musical identity that seeks no imitation of its western contemporaries, but is brave, its own and unique.

The name of the concert was inspired by the documentary television series presented by actor Michael Palin and the program intents to superficially dive into art music cultures of the Pacific area.
