Visual Arts´ Day

Visual Arts´ Day is traditionally celebrated on 10th of July in honor of the birthday of the visual artist Helene Schjerfbeck (1862–1946). In Rauma Visual Arts´ Day will be celebrated in a market atmosphere, while the Rauma Art Museum, Rauma Museum, Rauma Maritime Museum and Lönnström Museums will organize an art market.

Rauma museums offer local and nearby artists the opportunity to sell their works, meet their audiences and gain visibility for their own art. The art market brings art close to people and Rauma audiences from Old Rauma to Lönnström’s idyllic home museum in Syvärauma.
