Guided tour in Sammallahdenmäki

A guided walking tour in Sammallahdenmäki introduces visitors to a preserved area from the Bronze Age, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Stories of Bronze Age life enliven the guided tour through the rugged forest landscape of the burial mound area.

Sammallahdenmäki is located about 20 km from the center of Rauma. The tour includes a bus transfer to Sammallahdenmäki and back, as well as a guided tour of the area for about an hour. Guided walk is about 2 km long.

The bus transfer to Sammallahdenmäki departs at 2.00 pm from the charter traffic platform at Rauma bus station (Tallikedonkatu 13) and returns to the same place around 4.15 pm. Tickets in advance from the online store of experiences (doerz.com/visitrauma) or from the museum shop of the Old Town Hall. The ticket price is 10 € / person. Children under 15 free.

Guided tours of Sammallahdenmäki will be held on Thursdays during 1. June – 26. August. The tour is bilingual (Finnish / English).
