Alfred Kordelin Foundation’s Rauma Fund

The Rauma Fund was established in 1988 with the purpose of promoting art and cultural life in Rauma, as well as granting awards for social achievements and innovations. The Rauma Fund is one of the nine city funds of the Kordelin Foundation, which strengthen local cultural life throughout Finland.

The Rauma Fund fulfills its purpose by awarding grants and prizes to distinguished contributors.

The city funds’ grants are available for application every other year between January 15–31. Grants may be applied for by associations, artists, and other entities engaged in organizing art and cultural activities. The call is open to all whose projects enhance and diversify the region’s art and cultural offerings. It is essential that the project and its outcome are made visible and accessible to the local community.
