Rauma Pride weekend, which advocates for the rights and human rights of sexual and gender minorities, will be celebrated in Rauma on 6–7 June 2026. The City of Rauma will take part in the celebrations by flying the flag for equality and human rights.
– The City of Rauma is committed to long-term work to ensure that everyone can feel welcome and safe in Rauma. Rauma Pride highlights the importance of equality and mutual respect and reminds us that Rauma is an open and welcoming hometown for all, says Mayor Esko Poikela.
On Saturday, Rauma Pride will organize a Pride parade as a peaceful demonstration for equality and tolerance. The parade will start from Savila Park at 1:00 p.m. and proceed through Old Rauma.
After the parade, the celebration continues in Parpansali Park with a family-friendly park event from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event offers a wide range of activities for all ages. Visitors can meet local entrepreneurs and organizations, and the park will feature, among other things, a hobby horse activity point, a jewelry and badge workshop, and Pride bingo.
In the evening, there will be live music for different age groups. Entertaining the audience with their lively music is the children’s band Ötökkäbändi Hyvä ajatus, encouraging children to sing, dance, and play together. Also performing during the evening are the band Lempivärit and artist Samae Koskinen.
Rauma Pride weekend is part of Rauma’s vibrant and diverse event scene and its long-term work toward an open, safe, and dynamic city. The event is organized by Rauma Pride, and it is open to everyone—from babies to seniors, both members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies. Rauma Pride opposes bullying, hate speech, discrimination, and the spread of malicious disinformation, and promotes everyone’s right to be visible and to be themselves.
