Rauma Lyseo Upper Secondary School is a versatile general upper secondary school with approximately 710 students, located close to the seafront. Its broad curriculum and extensive language programme allow students to tailor their studies to their own interests, whether in languages, natural sciences, the arts, or sports.

WinNova provides vocational upper secondary education leading to vocational qualifications, further vocational qualifications, and specialist vocational qualifications. In addition, WinNova offers a wide range of continuing education and professional development programmes across various fields.
Higher Education in Rauma
Satakunta University of Applied Sciences
The Rauma campus of Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK) is located on Satamakatu and Suojantie. In Rauma, students can pursue degree programmes in International Business, Logistics, and Maritime Management. Of SAMK’s four focus areas, Logistics and Maritime Technology is centred in Rauma.
University of Turku, Rauma Campus, Department of Teacher Education
The Department of Teacher Education at the University of Turku offers degree programmes and open university studies in classroom teacher education, early childhood education, and craft teacher education at its Rauma campus. The campus is also home to research activities and postgraduate studies.

Find Your Home in Rauma! Finding student accommodation in Rauma is easy. The City of Rauma offers student housing at Kanavakatu 45 (Pläkkluat Student Residence) and Suojantie 2f (Merimäki Student Residence).
Students at WinNova can apply for accommodation in a student residence located in Rauma. Accommodation at the Suojantie residence is free of charge, and applications are submitted through an online application form.
You can also find affordable housing through other rental companies, housing providers, and private landlords. It is recommended that you start looking for accommodation as soon as you receive your study place.

Health and Social Support
As a student in upper secondary or vocational education, you can access student healthcare and social support services through the Satakunta Wellbeing Services County. Higher education students receive healthcare services through the Finnish Student Health Service (FSHS/YTHS). Please check the service providers’ websites for the locations of their service points.
Ohjaamo Rauma is a guidance and support centre for young people under the age of 30. Experts are available to help with employment, education, finances, and housing. You can also get support with leisure-time matters, such as finding a hobby or activity that suits your interests.
