Spirit of Tasmania V sets sail for home – celebrations for city residents at the shipyard on Wednesday, October 29

Rauma Marine Constructions and the City of Rauma will jointly host a celebration on Wednesday, October 29, to mark the departure of the TT-Line Spirit of Tasmania V passenger ferry. The event will take place at the shipyard from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The program includes speeches, an illuminated ship, and fireworks to conclude the festivities.
Residents of Rauma will once again have a unique opportunity to visit the shipyard area on Wednesday evening at 6:00 p.m. and see the illuminated Spirit of Tasmania V up close before its departure. The program features a guided tour, during which visitors can also view the multi-purpose corvette currently under construction. In addition, there will be speeches, sausage and bun refreshments, and fireworks at 7:30 p.m.
The event is free of charge and open to everyone. The shipyard gates will open at 6:00 p.m., and admission requires a photo ID at the gate. Parking is available near the main gate. The shipyard tour is approximately two kilometers long, so please wear comfortable shoes and dress appropriately for the weather. Photography is permitted only in designated areas within the shipyard. The celebration will end at 8:00 p.m.
