Spring street cleaning will begin in the coming days

Gravel and grit removal from Rauma’s streets will begin in the coming days, weather permitting. The city’s street maintenance department will first clean bike paths and the main streets in the city center. In the southern and northern contract areas of the city, a private contractor will operate independently.
Street cleaning may stir up dirt and dust, temporarily lowering air quality. The street maintenance department also reminds residents to exercise caution when moving near work vehicles.
