Street renovations continue in Ota on Saaristokatu and Rauniokatu

The Ota area’s major repair project continues in week 16 with the renovation of Saaristokatu and Rauniokatu. The streets’ structures, streetlights, and water supply systems will be replaced. Work will begin with preparatory tasks and the removal of asphalt and paving stones. Actual earthworks will begin at the intersection of Saaristokatu and Raumanmerenkatu.
In total, approximately 560 meters of streets will be renovated. Asphalting, paving, and finishing work will be carried out once the earthworks are complete.
The project will be completed in early December. The contractor is Rauman Kaivin Oy.
