Cultural Events
The City of Rauma offers unforgettable experiences all year round! During the year, you can enjoy many traditional events, such as Children’s and Seniors’ Cultural Weeks and the Cristmas in Lace Town. In April, Rauma Day, the birthday of our wonderful hometown, is celebrated for over a week with various events.
The highlight of Rauma’s summer is the city festival Rauma Lace Week, which offers nine days of concerts, local culture, markets, programs for the whole family and, of course, lace.

Museums
The Rauma Museum includes the Art Museum, the Old Town Hall, Marela, Kirsti, Potter’s workshop (Savenvalajan verstas) and Blacksmith’s home (Sepän torppa).
Museum activities are also visible throughout the city in the form of exhibitions and collections, as well as a wide range of educational and information services.
