The archipelago of Rauma invites you to explore its magnificent nature and offers plenty of opportunities for unforgettable adventures by the sea. Four scenic tourist islands offer a wonderful setting for relaxation, hiking and nature experiences. Enjoy a trip to the islands by sea on a scheduled boat or taxi boat.

Hiking trails
Check out Rauma’s hiking routes and nature trails! There are up to 30 kilometres of marked hiking trails in the Rauma archipelago, including in the areas of the Bothnian Sea National Park.

Carpet washing points
The City of Rauma maintains six carpet washing facilities, where you can wash your carpets safely and in an environmentally friendly way.
Swimming areas and beach saunas
Rauma has several public beaches. EU beaches are those estimated to be visited by at least 100 swimmers per day during the bathing season.
The city has seven beach saunas, which are open to the public from June to August. The exception is the Lapin Rantasauna, which is open all year round.


The Bothnian Sea National Park
The Bothnian Sea National Park was established to protect underwater nature, preserve the natural and cultural heritage, as well as for general nature recreation, education, research and monitoring of environmental changes.
The Bothnian Sea National Park is located on the coast of south-western Finland. It stretches in a south-north direction over a distance of about 150 kilometres from Kustavi to Merikarvia, in an area of eight municipalities, between which lie the cities of Uusikaupunki, Rauma and Pori and the municipalities of Pyhäranta, Eurajoki and Luvia.
