Swimming competition will be held at the swimming pool from December 11 to 14, 2025.
- On Thursday, December 11, the swimming pool will be open from 6 AM to 2 PM
- The swimming pool will be closed from December 12 to 14, 2025.
Swimming hall information
Rauma swimming hall is located on Karin kampus at Aittakarinkatu 10.
Swimmers can use a lap pool, diving pool, multi-purpose pool, youth pool, children’s pool, paddling pool, jacuzzi, cold pool and water slide.
The swimming pool’s services also include a gym for those over 16 years of age, where you can work out in a variety of ways. Ticket sales and information are located in the Oskar café, which also serves delicious food and drinks.

The swimming pool ticket office closes one hour before closing time, and swimming ends half an hour before closing time.

Candlelight swimming
An atmospheric candlelight swimming will be held at Rauma Swimming Hall on Thursday, 18 December from 6 AM to 8.30 PM.

Multi-visit wristband top-up
You can top up your wristband online. The site is in Finnish.
To make a top-up, you will need your wristband number and online banking credentials. Online you can purchase 10- and 20-visit passes for adults, children, and seniors.
You can only buy the same type of pass that was most recently loaded onto your wristband. The product must be loaded onto the wristband for the first time at the swimming hall cashier, after which it can be topped up online. A pass purchased online will be loaded onto your wristband at the swimming hall gate no earlier than 2 hours after the purchase, and it must be activated at the gate within 30 days.
NOTE: Personal employee sport benefits cannot be used for advance online payments. They can only be used at the swimming hall cashier.
Gym
The gym is a low-threshold gym. The gym is 120 m².
The gym fee is included in the swimming hall fee and are not sold separately.
Swimming time is 2 hours. Total time in the gym and swimming is 4,5 h.
The age limit for the gym is 16 years.

The gym is open during the opening hours of the swimming hall.

Mondays from 11.15 AM to 12 PM
Fridays from 9 to 9.40 AM, from 10 to 10.40 AM, from 1.30 to 2.10 PM and from 2.15 to 2.50 PM.

Lightened water exercises
The lightened water exercises are open to everyone and you can join in with the swimming hall entrance fee. You can exercise according to your own fitness level.

You can exercise on your own with the Hydrohex program when the space is not reserved for other use. During guided water aerobics, Hydrohex and massage points are not available. They are turned off five minutes before starting the guided exercise.

Prices:
Price with an EU assistant card with an A-marking 20,75€.
The price includes the entrance fee for two people. For others, the normal swimming hall one-time fee. The card must be shown at the checkout.
Separate sauna for those who do not have an EU assistant card, price 41,45€, which does not include the entrance fee.
Parking
Rauma swimming hall is located at Aittakarinkatu 10, 26100 Rauma. Entrance from door A1.
Access to the parking lot from Sahankatu. Entrance from door E1.
There is also a parking garage. The parking garage is open on weekdays from 5 AM to 10 PM and on weekends from 5 AM to 6 PM. Exit is always possible. Parking is free of charge.
There are 10 charging points for hybrid and electric cars in the area. One of the places is marked with a disability sign. Charging with the Virta app and a Type2 charging cable.
Swimming hall technical data
Lap pool: length 25 m, 8 lanes, width 2,5 m. Pool depth 1,35-1,95 m. Pool area 530 m². Water temperature 27°C. The pool has a mobile pool lift.
Diving pool: Pool area 148 m². Depth 3,85 m and temperature 27 °C. The pool has a diving board 1m and diving platforms 3 and 5 m.
Multi-purpose pool: Pool area 135 m². Depth 1,2–1,4 m. Water temperature 29 °C. The pool has two massage points. In addition to guided water gymnastics, the pool offers the opportunity to do gymnastics independently using the hydrohex screen. The pool has a mobile pool lift.
Youth pool: Length 10 m and depth 1–1,2 m. Pool area 101 m². Water temperature 30 °C.
Children’s pool: Length 10 m and depth 0,6–0,9 m. Pool area 82 m². Water temperature 30 °C. The pool has a mobile pool lift.
Paddling pool: Depth 0,15-0,30 m. Pool area 18 m². Water temperature 30 °C.
Jacuzzi: Depth 1 m and pool area 6 m². Temperature 32 °C.
Cold pool: Depth 1,2 m and pool area 6 m². Temperature 7 °C.
Water slide: Length approximately 50 m.
Stands: Approximately 400 seats.
The changing and washing facilities: 201 lockers for women and 189 for men.
Disabled acces facilities: There are separate changing and washing facilities for people with reduced mobility.
Saunas: The men’s and women’s sides each have 2 saunas and 1 steam sauna. There are also two separate/on-demand saunas.
Other things
You can buy a swimming hall wristband from the cafeteria in the campus lobby.
The swimming hall is shoeless. Shoes must be left in the shoe racks inside the entrance gate or carried in your hands to the locker room and out of the locker room.
The wristband is used to open and close the locker rooms. When leaving, the locker door must be left open, otherwise you will not be able to exit the entrance gate.
The wristband can be used to check the locker number on the screens in the locker rooms.
In the multi-purpose pool, you can exercise independently according to the instructions of the Hydrohex program outside of the guided water gymnastics.
Lost and found items can be found in the cafeteria and will be stored for two weeks.
All old serial swimming pool wristbands will work in the new swimming pool if they have visits left.
