Construction of the new train stop in Rauma has begun. During the construction project, special attention will be paid to the safety and smooth flow of walking and cycling in the area, as well as to the involvement of road users. The temporary traffic arrangements resulting from the construction site are expected to last from June to December.
To collect user feedback on the temporary traffic arrangements, enthusiastic mobility agents will be recruited from among users who travel in the area. Any resident of the City of Rauma or anyone who regularly travels in the target area can sign up to be an agent. A monthly prize of a 10-ride travel card for Rauman Gyyt will be raffled off among active mobility agents.

The City of Rauma is the client for the Mobility Agent program, and Sitowise Oy is responsible for its implementation. The City of Rauma has received a state subsidy from Traficom’s mobility guidance program for work supporting sustainable mobility and inclusion.
In addition to the Mobility Agent program, a joint walking or cycling tour to evaluate temporary traffic arrangements will be organized during the construction project in collaboration with the Youth Council, the Senior Citizens’ Council, and the Disability Council.
