Lights in the eastern end of Kaunisjärvenpuisto Park will be replaced during the turn of the month

The lighting at the eastern end of Kaunisjärvenpuisto Park will be replaced. Work will begin at the end of this week and is expected to take about two weeks.
The old light poles will be removed and replaced with new composite poles equipped with energy-efficient LED lights. At the same time, the city’s Parks Department will renovate the park’s walkways by replacing the surface gravel. These measures will improve the area’s appeal and safety.
During the work, some of the park paths will be closed. Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to exercise caution near the construction site.
Enerlux Oy is the contractor for the lighting project.
