Kuva Vanhasta Raumasta Kuninkaankadulta

The pedestrian street season on Kuninkaankatu and Kauppakatu in Old Rauma begins on Monday, June 22, and ends on August 2. During this period, Kuninkaankatu and Kauppakatu will be closed to vehicle traffic between Savilankatu and Vähäkirkkokatu. Service and resident traffic are permitted.

Vähäkirkkokatu is one-way from Kuninkaankatu to Kauppakatu, allowing access to the market square from the direction of Kuninkaankatu. The Market Square parking lot remains in use, but access to it is exceptionally via Vähäkirkkokatu.

The section of Kuninkaankatu between Isokirkkokatu and Vähäkirkkokatu will also function as a pedestrian street.

Temporary traffic arrangements will be marked with traffic signs, and no-entry zones will be delineated using flower pots.

As in previous years, residents of the area between the Raumanjoki River and Kuninkaankatu can access their properties from behind the Rautla building via Vähäkirkkokatu, Vähäkoulukatu, and Isokirkkokatu. The route is one-way during the pedestrian street period.

Gyyt is a convenient way to get around

Rauman Gyyt provides convenient access to the city center from all parts of Rauma. Gyyt is free of charge throughout the summer season, until August 9. You can check the summer schedules at www.rauma.fi/gyyt. We recommend leaving your car at home or using one of the many public and free parking lots near Old Rauma.
