Resident survey open – port’s electric aviation fuel production plant project advances to EIA procedure

The project for an electric aviation fuel production plant planned for the Ulko-Petäjäkoski area of the Port of Rauma has progressed to the environmental impact assessment procedure. As part of the procedure, Norsk e-Fuel, the company responsible for the project, and the consulting firm Sweco are conducting a resident survey.
The survey will collect information on the current use of the surrounding area and the views of local residents, landowners, and other interested parties on the project. Anyone who wishes to express their opinion on the project is welcome to respond to the survey. The response period is open until Sunday, November 30, 2025. Responses will be treated confidentially by the EIA consultant, and a summary of the responses will be used in the EIA procedure. The report and summary will be prepared in such a way that individual respondents cannot be identified.
