The district heating of Rauman Asunnot Oy’s buildings is 100% carbon dioxide-free

Rauman Asunnot Oy has made a BioTakuu agreement with Rauma Energy, which ensures that the heating of the properties is 100 percent carbon neutral. BioTakuu is verified in accordance with the Origin Guarantee Act (1050/2021) and is heat produced from renewable raw materials.
Rauman Asunnot Oy made the agreement based on the decision of the Rauma city board on December 15, 2025, which is connected to Rauma city’s Hinku (carbon-neutral municipalities) network, aiming to reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 80% by 2030.
