Learn and Explore – Rauma Adult Education Centre Open to All
Rauma Adult Education Centre’s courses are open to everyone, regardless of where they live or their level of education.
We organise a variety of courses, suitable for beginners as well as for those who are more advanced in their hobbies. We are an adult education centre, but we also offer courses for children and young people. Rauma Adult Education Centre is also home to Rauma Art School and Rauma Theatre School.
We organise teaching all over the city of Rauma. You can take part in distance learning courses from anywhere in the world.
Summer 2026
Karin kampus is closed 1.6.-10.8.2026, during which time the college office will also have limited opening hours:
June 1–17: Mon–Fri 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (phone and email inquiries only)
June 18–July 26: Office closed
July 27–August 10: Mon–Fri, 9 a.m.–3 p.m. (phone and email inquiries only)
Customer service will resume on August 11, 2026.
Application for Basic Arts Education
Applications for basic arts education for the 2026–2027 school year are now open!
Children and young people aged 7–18 can study at the School of Visual Arts and the School of Theater.

You will be notified of your student placement by August 19, 2026.
Autumn 2026
The study guide 2026–2027 will be distributed to households in Rauma during week 33. You can also pick up a copy at the Kari Campus, libraries, Pyyrmanni, or the City Hall information desk starting in week 33. The PDF version of the study guide is available via the link:

Karin kampus
Most of the Adult Education Centre’s teaching takes place at the Karin kampus. You will also find the Adult Education Centre’s office and full-time staff here. The accompanying image shows the guidance for the campus entrances. You can check your course’s room code in the course details when registering. The code is also included in the confirmation email by opening the section “registration details.”
Please remember to bring indoor shoes if you are attending classes in the home economics classrooms or on floors 2 or 3 of wing D. Outdoor shoes should be left in the cloakroom areas, where you can change into indoor shoes. There are plenty of parking spaces available on the Sahakatu side.
