National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI)
The National Certificates of Language Proficiency (YKI) are the language test system of the Finnish government. Anyone can take the tests, regardless of how or where they acquired their language skills. The Finnish language tests are intended for immigrants or foreigners. All other language tests are suitable for Finns whose mother tongue is either Finnish or Swedish.
