Adults and seniors
All of our exercise groups are low-threshold exercises that are easy for everyone to participate in. The groups are therefore also suitable for beginners.
The groups are open to everyone. It is not necessary to register for the groups, unless otherwise mentioned.

Sports groups autumn 2025
Starting September 1
Low-threshold exercise groups for everyone. The autumn season lasts from August to the end of December.
The groups are open to everyone and free of charge, except for those marked with an asterisk (*). Free entry with a senior wristband. For others, the season fee is €34,20. You can buy a senior wristband and the season fee at the cash desk in the swimming hall. The receipt is shown to the instructor.
Monday

Tuesday
* 10:00–11:00 Free play session, Karin campus gym, Aittakarinkatu 10. During the play session, various ball games can be organized according to the group’s wishes, such as badminton, walking soccer/floorball, or similar. The group operates independently without an instructor. Registration

* 10:15–11:15 Muscle group, various muscle conditioning exercises according to your own fitness level, such as movements that are done with one’s own body weight, kettlebell workout, gym workout or similar. Karin campus gym, Aittakarinkatu 10. Registration

Thursday
* 9:30–10:15 Mobility/body maintenance, a gentle body maintenance class focusing on awareness of your own body, Karin campus budo hall. Registration

15:30–16:30 Chair exercises, Otan multipurpose hall, Urheilukatu 19. From September 1 to October 1, meetings will be held in the high school facilities across the street.
Friday

Gym courses
The gym course is intended for people who want help and support in getting started with gym training. The course is free with a senior wristband, €34.20 for others. Autumn courses are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 13:30-14:30 for three weeks. Choose a course that you can attend every time. This way, you will get the most out of the course.
