Housing Advice
Sometimes there are situations where help is needed in housing-related matters; for example, accrued rental debts or difficulties in coping with the maintenance of the apartment. Housing is always also a social activity, and coexistence with neighbors is not always smooth. For housing problems, you can get help from housing counseling at the Rauma Rental apartments office. Housing counseling can be used to support the resident in housing-related situations and to find solutions to potential problems together with the resident. Housing counseling is free of charge for residents.
Rent Payment Difficulties
The rental payment due date is the Fifth Day of each month. If you have problems paying your rent, quickly contact rental supervisor to arrange a new payment schedule. The unpaid rent will be charged in court and then you will also have to pay the legal costs, you will lose your apartment and the mark in the credit information will make it difficult to get a possible new rental apartment.
Fees and expenses charged to residents
The tenant is obliged to take care of and maintain their apartment carefully. The landlord will charge the tenant compensation according to the price list for negligent damage to the tenant’s apartment, poor maintenance, repairs to various own installations, smoking inside or other untidy conditions of the apartment. The landlord may also charge for services requested by an external party and for costs arising from failure to return the keys according to the price list. The prices correspond to average repair costs and include labor, supplies and valid VAT.
Safety in case of accidents
The housing company offers comprehensive and diverse group accident insurance for housing company residents and their guests.
The insurance covers accidents that occur in the housing company’s yard, common areas, in the community, on trips related to the housing company, and during notified changes and repairs in the apartment to which the notification relates, as well as glasses, hearing aids, safety helmets or dentures that are broken in connection with the accident.
Covers the costs of replacing keys or locks and opening the door when the key has been left in the apartment by the resident, lost or stolen.
Compensates for interruption of living caused by damage.
