Radiation and Nuclear Safety Authority STUK received information about an emergency situation at Olkiluoto nuclear power plant on Thursday 10.12. TVO and STUK have begun their preparedness activity.
The situation began when radiation measurement systems detected elevated radiation levels inside the plant. According to STUK no radiation has entered the environment from the plant. The situation caused no threat to people or the environment.
