Spring cleaning of the streets of Rauma will begin on week eleven if the weather stays mild. The cleaning will start from the main streets of the city center and the work will last approximately a month and a half.
– After the city center, the cleaning will continue on other streets and neighborhoods. Street sweepers will sweep and collect gravel and the streets will also be washed afterward, manager Jari Salminen says.
If the temperature is below freezing, the streets will not be swept because then the use of water is not possible to prevent excessive dust.
